Terms of Sale
What you are agreeing to when you buy from us, and what you can expect from us in return.
Last updated 4 August 2026
Who you are buying from
Rae Forward is a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@raeforward.com, and our postal address is [TO CONFIRM].
These terms apply when you buy from raeforward.com. They do not affect your legal rights as a consumer. Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you.
What we sell
We sell printed books, ebooks and digital learning resources. Each product page tells you the format before you buy. Print books are produced to order by our printing partner, so the copy you receive is printed for you rather than taken from a warehouse shelf.
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Colours and paper can vary slightly between print runs, and screen images are a guide rather than an exact match.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Rae Forward is not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Delivery costs for print orders are shown at checkout before you pay.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. If a price is listed incorrectly, we will contact you before processing the order and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Buying from outside the UK may mean customs charges or import duties in your own country. Those are your responsibility and are not included in the price you pay us.
How an order is made
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will tell you and refund you in full.
Delivery
Print books. Because each copy is printed to order, allow time for printing as well as postage. Estimated timescales are shown at checkout. We will always do our best to meet them, though we cannot control the postal network. If your order has not arrived within 30 days, contact us and we will sort it out.
Ebooks and digital resources. These are made available immediately after payment, by download link and by email. If a link does not work, email us and we will send a replacement.
Risk in a print book passes to you when it is delivered.
Cancelling and refunds
Your cancellation and refund rights are set out in full on our Refunds and Returns page, which forms part of these terms.
How you can use what you buy
Everything we publish is protected by copyright and remains our property. When you buy a book or digital resource, you are buying a licence to use it yourself.
You may read it, print a copy of a digital file for your own use, and work through the exercises. You may not share, resell, upload or distribute our files, reproduce substantial parts of our work elsewhere, or use our content for commercial training without written permission.
If you would like to use our material with a group, a team or a class, get in touch. We are usually glad to say yes.
What our books are and are not
Our books and resources are for general information and guidance. They are not personalised careers advice, and they are not a guarantee of a job, an interview or a particular outcome. Salary figures, role descriptions and industry information are accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing, and the industry changes.
Our liability
If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Complaints and governing law
If something has gone wrong, email hello@raeforward.com and we will try to put it right. We aim to reply within five working days.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes can be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your own courts. We may update these terms, and the version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
